Led by owner Sharon Carole, general manager Cameron Hall and executive chef Christopher Covelli, this historic Mediterranean-style building has been re-designed into an eclectic dining space while retaining the character and integrity of the original Sarasota Times Newspaper building.
Sage features a multi-level dining room with a vintage copper cocktail bar, 3400 sq. ft. of private event space and a covered rooftop lounge with 360° views of downtown Sarasota.
The menu is seasonal and globally inspired, combining fresh ingredients and cooking styles from around the world. Both vegan and gluten-free friendly, Sage has options for everyone.

As a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City, award-winning chef Christopher Covelli was groomed by world-renowned chefs Andre Soltner, Jacques Pepin and Alain Saihac. He was trained in seven different countries and speaks five languages. His culinary specialties span Classic French, Italian, Spanish and American haute cuisine.
Owner Sharon Carole
Designer and real estate investor Sharon Carole has lived in Sarasota since 2008. An entrepreneur and philanthropist, she has been involved with many local projects and has contributed to the success of numerous businesses and nonprofit organizations in the community.
GM Cameron Hall
Hospitality veteran Cameron Hall is a Sarasota native who grew up in the service industry. After a successful career working in restaurants in Orlando and Nantucket, he returned in 2010 to manage the renowned 5 O’Clock Club, a family-owned nightclub and music venue in Sarasota’s Southside Village.
